Heat Changes

Any change you wish to make from this point forward must be done at the event by completing a drop/add form. Change Forms will be available at the DROP/ADD desk located near the on-deck area.

Competition Information

– Doors open at 7:30 AM on both Saturday and Sunday.
– Competition starts at 8:30 AM on both days.
– Please plan to arrive in the ballroom at least 45 minutes before your designated heat time.
– TWO HEATS before you scheduled event, check in with the Deck Captain so they know you are ready to dance.
– Monitors will be available in the ballroom to help you track the current, upcoming heats and re-calls.
– For your convenience, Heat Sheets will be included in your participation packets.

food and drink accommodations

–  ASU Cafeteria Hours: 9 AM to 3 PM & 4:30 PM  to 7 PM
– Starbucks Hours: (opens mid-morning)
– Jamba Juice Hours: 10 AM to 11 PM in the ASU complex.
Flyers will be available in your packets.

Spectators Welcome

All Day General Admission is $10.00 for ages 12 and up. Age 11 & under – free.  *Cash preferred.*
Tickets
 may be purchased at the door on each day of the event or with your registration payment. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

International Style

Standard – Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep

Latin – Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive

American Style

Smooth – Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz

Rhythm – Cha Cha, Rumba, East Coast Swing, Bolero, Mambo

Social & Specialty Dance Styles

Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Hustle

Nightclub Two-Step, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango

Formation Team Performances

Choreographed group routines/performances. (Entries open to all styles of dance.)

Scholarships

Prize money for Scholarships will be available for winners in the Bronze, Silver and Open levels of Scholarship events, subject to rules and guidelines.

Teachers/Professionals are not required to be members to participate.

Adult/Senior competitors are required to hold an active membership. The Social Dancer Membership level will suffice to participate in this competition.

Pre-Teen through Collegiate competitors (age 25 and under with ID) have two options:

  1. Hold an active membership, OR
  2. Pay a one-time $10 non-member participation fee.

A one-time non-member participation fee of $10 can be paid online via O2CM registration or by completing and submitting payment with the registration packet.
